Human iPSC-derived glutamatergic neurons ioGlutamatergic Neurons are deterministically programmed from human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) using opti-ox technology. Within days, cells convert consistently to mature, functional excitatory neurons characterised by >80% expression of glutamate transporter genes VGLUT1 and VGLUT2. Glutamatergic neurons are highly defined and characterised, and are delivered cryopreserved and ready-to-culture, making them a high-quality, easy-to-use, human model for translational research, disease modelling and drug discovery. In addition to the wild type, our portfolio includes glutamatergic neurons carrying disease-relevant mutations for studying ALS, FTD, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Gaucher and Huntington's diseases, and CRISPR-Ready glutamatergic neurons stably expressing Cas9 nuclease or dCas9 variants for rapid gene knockouts, activations or repressions.
